History

Kadarbiku Farm started its journey in 1989 when Ants Pak established a farm named after himself – Ants Pak’s Kadarbiku Farm – that concentrated on growing vegetables. We started with a few hectares and gradually expanded our business. In addition to growing vegetables, Kadarbiku has also tried its hand in other fields such as broiler breeding.

We have purchased or leased the entire land required for gardening over time. Today, our company has 250 hectares of its own land, and approximately 700 ha of land has been leased.

In our first years, the entire business was concentrated around the farm in the Tuula Village, and today, all the production and warehouse facilities are situated in Ääsmäe. We have been involved in many different projects: we have produced salads for all the MacDonald’s restaurants in the Baltic States; we have started producing packaged vegetable mixes (different soup mixes, stews). In 2004, Kadarbiku Köögivili OÜ was established and we launched our first juice – carrot juice – that was at first made completely by hand: bottled, labelled, caps on and off to the store!

Carrot juice quickly became a best-selling product, and it was followed by cabbage, beetroot and apple juice and different mixed juices – we experimented with several different flavours.

In 2005, we launched a new type of juice drink – a smoothie, the first being mango smoothie. Over time, some of them have disappeared, but every year we launch something new.
